[Tear is standing in the middle of her room right after this thread, wearing an outfit that she would not normally be caught dead in, simply because her closet is overflowing with revealing garments which she most certainly did not buy herself, and she can't find her normal clothes, since she only has a few of those. She is almost visibly bristling, as if her hair has started to stand on end.]

Wh-- W-what is this?!

[Anybody nearby can probably hear.]

...wait... Wait a minute...

[Oh and it starts to click into place, but Tear's just getting even more agitated. Her tail starts lashing and her ears are twitching. Wait... wait a minute... this isn't quite right.]

((OOC: I'll explain, I'm stealing the catgirl antics from Tokyo Mew Mew. If Tear gets embarrassed/scared/flustered, her cat ears and tail will pop out. If you really freak her out, she'll turn completely into a cat. If you turn her into a cat, the only way she can return to normal is if she gets kissed (or licked, nosed, etc) by a human or another animal. This is totally how it works in shoujo manga, I didn't make it up. XD She'll also have a few cat-like tendencies... moodiness, "-nya"-ing, well, use your imagination. Have fun? *bricked*))

[Tail lashes in annoyance.]

And naturally it isn't right. I'm fairly confident that I know who the perpetrator is, but getting him to admit to his crime is another story entirely, nya.

[Pauses in the middle of her rant, long enough to flick her tail. Her ears flatten slightly.]

N-no. They didn't. Those are the island's doing... I think, nya.

[Still staring a little, but not as much now. he's more confused by the ears and tail.]

Who do you think it was?

...Nya? Are you turning into a cat, too?

To jump to conclusions would be careless of me...

It's always possible that someone else was gifted with a similar ability. I also have no proof. It's suspicious that he was wandering around the third floor, but there could be another explanation...

[She wants to give Luke the benefit of a doubt. Besides, she can't imagine why anyone would want to do this to her, especially Luke who is supposed to be watching her back. Filling her closet with revealing clothes that probably show her back and Lorelei only knows how many other patches of skin should not count under this definition of teamwork.]

It would seem so, nya...

[Ears flatten slightly, tail continues to swish lazily.]

[He continues to stare at the tail. It's better than... anything else. because that would get him into a lot of trouble.]

Uh... you really don't have anything else left to wear?

Naturally. Why would a woman break in and do something like this, nya?

[She sighs, not even bothering to answer. Taking a few steps over to her closet, she opens the door and "voila!" it is overflowing with clothes. Her tail flicks in agitation as she turns back towards Jr. with a scowl.]

Somewhere. I haven't been able to find any of them yet. There were only about five or six outfits before.

Nya, however...

You never met Heather. Trust me, it's more likely than you think.

[He looks at the outfits, to Tear, and back again, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.]

We-well... that one does look nice on you, at least.

[She blushes self-consciously. Her tail puffing up indignantly.]

Th-that's not important, nya!! Please don't talk about it!

[She sighs, trying to calm down again.]

Now however, there are far too many to bother with counting.

S-sorry! I was just... trying to help!

It'll be okay, Tear. I'll find out who did this and make sure they don't mess with you anymore!

[She falls silent for a moment. There's no point in making Luke out to be the criminal, especially when she can't be sure it was him and he won't admit to it. That's just sloppy. And besides, even if it's not a case of friendship, it's her job to make sure the idiot stays out of trouble. Actually, it's the former sentiment that prevents her from giving out a name.

No, this case needs a thorough investigation so there are no doubts who the true ~~pervert~~ culprit is.

That doesn't mean, however, that she's going to stop Jr. from looking into the matter.]

How do you plan on accomplishing that?
