It's so draining...
I don't think I'm cut out for cheering people up. Maybe I just don't have the patience for it...

In any case, at least Renge seems to be doing better. I think she'll be able to fully recover soon. Hopefully, anyway. A lot of people seem to be checking in on her, and I'm sure the social interaction is helping.

I still haven't managed to get a job yet, but I did make it to the library today. There really are a lot of books available, and I borrowed quite a few. Since the weather was nice, I spent the afternoon reading outside near the lake.

I haven't discovered very much, but I am thinking I must have had some kind of physical training at some point in my life. Why do I think this? Well, the books were quite heavy, but I didn't have to stop to catch my breath while I was carrying them. I wonder if there's anything else that would lend to good breathing habits, though?

Also, I was invited to a picnic by someone named Fay and encouraged to bring a friend if I wanted to. I'm not sure of the exact date and time (or place, even), but to be blunt - I don't know who I'd bring.

Yeah, trying to cheer someone up is really tiring. Especially when you do it on a daily basis.

I would have thought a person like you would have no problem cheering someone up.
