This is absurd! The flood of memories seems far too convenient. It's nearly Valentine's Day, and I'm certain the fact that other people are also remembering "being married" is no coincidence at all. It wouldn't make any sense for the island population to be made up almost entirely of couples; most of us don't even come from the same worlds and

Ah... Well, no... I mean... of course I'll talk to him about it, but... I hadn't planned on treating him any differently than I have been.

His friendship was never something I doubted; I trusted that. This however, this is... far too much, far too suddenly.

If everyone's memories are real, then... okay, but if this turns out to be fake, it could ruin what people had already.

The gods here must have a pretty sick sense of humor to dump all of this on us at once.

Why would it cause more problems? I mean, sure, it'd be awkward for a while, but you guys are really friends, it shouldn't make that much of a difference.

A lot of the events they devise don't make a great deal of sense. The outcomes aren't always beneficial, but they don't usually result in long-lasting damage, either.

Won't you remember this whenever you cross paths with that person? I... I don't know...

But there's a big difference. I'm certain I wouldn't take something like marriage lightly. It's a huge commitment.

W-Well, yeah, but... We've kinda agreed that something like marriage is pretty out of the blue. Especially since we just met last week and... Um, we don't really get along that well.

Oh wait... right, you and Luke are pretty good friends. That's... I don't know. I'm not sure what I'd do in a situation like that.

That sounds like a wise decision. Acting off of a single memory can be reckless, since things aren't always the way they seem at first.

But we still argue. Even though we're friends, we don't necessarily see things eye-to-eye; more often we don't.

I think that's something all really good friends do. Understand they've got different ideas about things, but get along despite that.
