Even with the addition of a heavy coat and winter clothing, it's still horribly cold out there. (Thank you so much for that, Fay-san. You're too kind.)

I couldn't bring myself to miss my first day of waitressing, so I went, but there doesn't seem to be anyone much out and about in this mess. It's hardly worth it, and I get the feeling that I will regret making the journey after a few more days of it. Oh well, it's better than being stuck in the room all day.

That said, for those that are unwilling to leave the apartments (and everyone else, too, for that matter), a few others and myself are offering door-to-door tea service. I can guarantee it's hot, so if you'd like a cup on the house, just let one of us know and we'll bring it up for you.

I wanted to do something for everyone, and this was all I could come up with...

[OOC: Fay loaned her money... she probably spent $50 on warm boots w/o heels, $50 on a warmer outfit with SLEEVES, $100 on a nice, heavy coat, and another $50 on tea for everyone.]

Wha--really?! But wait, you're doing all this for free? Why go to the trouble, then?

Everyone's cold, aren't they? I wanted to do something, too, it's as simple as that.

Don't tell me you've never gone to trouble for other people before, just because you felt it was the right thing to do.

Hey, I tried to help out Renge, didn't I?! Besides, I've never heard of someone handling a servant's duties for free.

Yes, I guess you did help Renge. She seems to be doing very well these days.

It's the same concept as that, really. It may be something that a servant would do, but that servant would be doing it as part of his or her job, correct? I'm doing this because I want to. There's a difference.

Do you want a cup of tea or not?

Okay, okay, I'll have a cup of tea.

1/2

Very well.

That's the ninth floor, isn't it?
I can deliver yours and Chrono's at the same time.

I should be up in a few minutes.

2/2 Promptness?

[And she should arrive some time later (assuming she didn't trip on the stairs) with two steaming cups of tea in tow. She balances the tray against herself with one arm and taps lightly on the door with the other.]

*opens the door*

Come on in. Just set the tea on the table.

...Hm? Two cups? Oh, right, you said something about someone else up here.

[Tear frowns. She can't believe this guy. Does he really think her wanting to serve tea to warm people up means she's willing to wait on him hand and foot? Of course not. He must really have lived in a manor like he said; maybe he even had servants. Judging by his attitude towards things, Tear decides that he must have.]

I-I'm not about to go into a boy's room...

[She looks a hint embarrassed by the very idea.]

I only agreed to deliver tea to residents' doors. You can take it from me yourself.

[She holds the tray out for him to accept the nearest cup.]

That's right. The other cup is for Chrono. He also lives on the ninth floor, so I brought them both at the same time.

Geez, what's so bad about coming into my room? She can be really weird sometimes

*grabs the cup*

All right, thanks. Try to keep warm, okay?

[Tear can't quite figure Luke out either. She decides he probably means well, though. Therefore, she must force herself to smile politely. After all, it's good practice for her waitressing job.]

You're welcome.
...Yes, I'll try to do just that.

[She searches for some nice comment to add, finally settling on one.]

You take care of yourself, too.
It'd be unfortunate if everyone caught colds after the weather returns to normal.

[Tear turns to head towards the other end of the hall where Chrono's room is, her expression returning to normal the moment she does so.]
