[Hymn #29]
Jun. 29th, 2009 11:22 pmTanabata... the "evening of the seventh"... From what I have read, it's a holiday celebrating a legend about two lovers who can only meet one night a year. It's basically a story to explain a series of constellations.
Not only is it depressing, it seems to me like they were awfully weak-willed. Orihime and Hikoboshi shouldn't have let themselves forget their duties. Besides that, after her father got angry at them, they should have stood up against him. When he separated the two, they could have easily built a bridge across the river themselves, but instead the legend says Orihime started crying and the birds agreed to form a bridge for her with their wings. You can't expect to get your way by pouting; you should take action! Honestly... a woman who does nothing but cry all the time is utterly useless, in my opinion.
At least Rena is really excited. I'll never hear the end of it at this rate.
Well, if this is the only way for me to get my memories back, I guess I'll have to go. I should take some comfort in knowing I won't have to be turned back into a child (or anything else, for that matter) this time.
((OOC: Strikes can be read if you really want your character to be able to read them. XDD But they should technically be almost impossible to read.))
