[For all technical purposes, Tear has made herself scarce. She is taking the rest of the week off from work and has informed no one about it save the manager. That doesn't mean she's impossible to find, however. Rather predictably she is sitting near her flower garden at the Hakurei Shrine, rolling an apple between her palms that she snagged from breakfast this morning and hasn't taken the first bite of. There's a lot for her to mull over, and she can't do that unless she has some time to herself. Auldrant has never seemed so far away, but she has no idea where to go from here, and she still has so very many unanswered questions.]

Van...

[OOC: Cherry's mean, but I need to get some of this heavy crap out of the way at some point. 1% on Absorption Gate, mainly concerned with dialogue; the battle itself; and Van, like all good Disney villains, falling to his "demise". AND THAT VAN SRSLY PLAYS HIS OWN BGM ON THE ORGAN. We'll worry about the other cast members and all the technical Sephiroth (not that Sephiroth) stuff at another time, so assume she doesn't know anything about lowering the land or where the heck all this drama is taking place. That makes 12% with 2% left. She'll go back to work next Monday.]

[Tear's movements stopped and she looked down at the unblemished apple for a long moment, as if at the suggestion she had only just realized that the apple even existed in the first place. ]

Not one. But then, I didn't really expect it to.
And even if it did, I doubt that I'd be able to fully comprehend its meaning.

*chuckles just a little as he crouches down next to her, practically folding in on himself with the movement*

*watches the flowers sway in the breeze for a moment*

[Tear smiles slightly.] Do you? I'm not even sure I understand what I mean anymore.

[She watches her garden for a moment, thinking how ironic things keep turning out to be.]

A-ah... No, I can come inside. I've been sitting here for a while now. It would probably be a good idea for me to stretch my legs.

[Tear glanced up at the sky. Indeed, it was darkening. She thought she glimpsed a bolt of lightning off in the distance, but the threat of a storm didn't bother her. She stood quietly and followed after Fay. Indoors it was certainly warmer than it was outside; even the shrine managed to trap in heat.]

Well enough, once I finally recovered from all of that revelry. I have simply been ... thinking on a great many things recently. Much like you, it seems. Are you doing all right?

[Tear follows Fay's example, pausing to slip off her high-heeled boots, knowing they'd probably damage the tatami mats in an instant, and likely scuff the floors as well.]

Yes... Oktoberfest was certainly something. I'm afraid I don't remember it very clearly, and I might not want to. What I do remember is suffering the worse headache imaginable after everything was over.

I can't really complain, though. I also started to regain memories in the days following the alcohol incident. I'm sure they're linked.

[Tear took a seat, folding her legs beneath herself and resting her hands neatly in her lap.]

Yes... There are always things to think about. A great number of things.

Well, yes... and no.

[Tear had decided that it was probably for the best if she just internalized what she had remembered. After all, it was in the past, and she didn't fully understand what her memories implicated. Nothing could be done about that now, and even if there were steps that needed taking, it would require the assistance of the other two from her world. There was no use in getting others caught up in Auldrant's business. However...]

There's no use in bringing up the past, especially when I can't fully comprehend what it is that I've remembered, but, there is something else...

[The question was how to bring it up without sounding stupid.]
