[Accurséd Eden] [April Fool's Event '09]

[Tear sat perched on the bar of the restaurant where she worked, her legs crossed neatly at the ankles, her weight shifted forward and supported by the broom she had been using to sweep up the floor until a few moments before. Her hair had been curled slightly at the ends, her bangs brushed out of her face and held back by a clip so that one could look clearly into her bright sapphire eyes.

A small sigh escaped her lips as she assessed the room. There were not as many customers as she would have liked, and even for wearing a very cute, very frilly white lolita-style uniform, it was not worth it. With this, an idea dawned on her. She giggled quietly and began narrating her life in the cliched tone of a shoujo heroine. Anyone within earshot would have had no trouble understanding her monologue. Not only was she speaking clearly, but her facial expressions pretty much revealed everything about her.]

My name is Tear and I'm just a normal teenage girl. I was brought to this island - called "Memento Eden" - only about a month ago. As a result, I have very few memories. All I know is that I have an older brother whom I love very much.

But that's okay! I've made a lot of friends in Memento Eden who give me courage and support! There's Mr. Shinigami, Fay, Mokona, Miss Renge, and many others. It makes me very happy.

But, but--!

[She stops to glance around, checking to see if anyone's listening, and even if they are, she pretends not to notice them.]

That's not all! IthinkImaybeinlovebutIcan'ttellhimthat!! It's just so embarrassing! [sigh] Yes, it's true. The only person who knows about it is my loyal companion, Squeak.

[With this she draws out a cheagle plushie seemingly from some back pocket one never would have noticed. The plushie emits a sound much like a pet squeaker toy (thus it's name, you know).]

I know, he's only a stuffed animal...
But it's nice to have something fluffy and adorable to confide in. Not to mention that Squeak supports my goal to protect the civillians on this island. Isn't that right, Squeak?

[Squeak squeaks his agreement.]

Anyway... we should get back to work. I just wish we had more customers, otherwise the food will get cold. That would be too cruel.

[She leaps from the bar with a slight flourish and a fluttering of her skirts, stowing Squeak back in her invisible pocket.]

We're open! How may I help you today?

[[OOC: This event is over.]]

[Tear's arms fly to quickly thrust her skirt back down and thus avoid too much fanservice for any onlookers. (OOC: Please note that her panties are burgandy canonicly.) She laughs nervously, then regains her composure, offering a cheerful smile.]

Right this way, please! [Tear leads her to an empty, but clean table near the window and places a menu in front of her.]

Do you have any idea what you'd like to order? Our red velvet cake is especially good.

[Tear returns a full sentence later with Saber's order. It's still warm, and heat can be seen rising from the pastry.]

Here you go! I really hope you enjoy it!

[She sets the plate down on the table, then claps her hands together.]

Isn't this island such a beautiful place? I really like it here.
